The Slope D Series is a big sounding instrument with resounding depth and warmth. Although I am more of a "get a big sound from a smaller bodied guitar" luthier, I couldn't help but put this one in my line up. If you are looking for a smooth yet robust sounding dreadnought style guitar then the Hawkins Guitar Slope D series is a great choice. My wife best describes this guitar model as sounding like dark chocolate.

The HSD model and the HSDC are the two models in this series. The difference between the two being that the HSDC is the cutaway version.
